Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F). Lightly grease a baking tray with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and set aside.
- 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the diced green bell pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- 3. Meanwhile, season the chicken breast with cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove from heat and shred the chicken using two forks.
- 4. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked green bell pepper, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well to create the flauta filling.
- 5. Lay out the flour tortillas and divide the filling evenly among them. Roll each tortilla tightly into a cigar shape and place it seam-side down on the prepared baking tray.
- 6. Bake the flautas in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 7. While the flautas are baking, prepare the avocado-lime crema. In a blender, combine the avocado, lime juice, sour cream, and green chili. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- 8. Serve the crispy flautas immediately with the avocado-lime crema on the side for dipping.
