Ingredients
- 500 g Rava
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 500 g Onion
- loose Ginger
- 200 ml Ghee
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Dry roast the semolina in a pan over medium heat until lightly golden and fragrant, then set aside.
- 2. Heat ghee or oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
- 3. Add curry leaves, green chilies, and grated ginger, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
- 4. Stir in the chopped onion and cook until translucent, then add the tomatoes and cook until softened.
- 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt, mixing well, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- 6. Pour in 3 cups of water and bring to a boil, then lower the heat to a simmer.
- 7. Gradually add the roasted semolina while stirring continuously to prevent lumps from forming.
- 8. Continue cooking on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and the semolina is fully cooked.
- 9. Turn off the heat, add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves, and mix well.
- 10. Serve hot, garnished with additional coriander leaves if desired.
