- 100 g Curry Leaves
- - Coconut Oil
- - Rice Flour
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Dry roast the rice flour in a pan on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring continuously, and let it cool.
- 2. Gradually mix the roasted rice flour with a pinch of salt and sprinkle water until it forms a crumbly, moist texture.
- 3. In a steamer, layer the prepared rice flour and freshly grated coconut alternately, starting and ending with coconut.
- 4. Steam the mixture for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from heat and fluff gently with a spoon.
- 5. Heat coconut oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and chopped green chilies, and sauté until fragrant.
- 6. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and the steamed rice-coconut mixture, mixing well to coat with the spices.
