  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 1Bunch Pudina
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine besan, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, black pepper, salt, and curd. Gradually add water to form a smooth batter of medium consistency.
  2. 2. Add finely chopped tomato, onion, green chili, and coriander leaves to the batter. Mix well to incorporate the vegetables evenly.
  3. 3. Heat a non-stick tawa or skillet over medium heat and grease it lightly with oil. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it gently into a thin circle.
  4. 4. Cook the chilla for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes. Repeat for the remaining batter.
  5. 5. In a separate bowl, mix shredded cabbage and grated carrot with a pinch of salt and a dollop of mint chutney.
  6. 6. Once the chillas are cooked, place a portion of the cabbage-carrot mixture in the center of each chilla. Roll them tightly to form wraps.
  7. 7. Serve the wraps warm, optionally with extra yogurt-mint chutney on the side.
