Ingredients
- 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 250 g Cucumber
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50 Grms Garam Masala Handmade Spices 50 Grms
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Jeera
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Wash the yellow moong dal thoroughly and cook it in a pot with enough water until soft, approximately 15-20 minutes. Once cooked, mash slightly and set aside.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add finely chopped tomato and cook until softened.
- 3. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Add the cooked dal to the pan and mix well. Season with salt, simmer for 5 minutes, and finish with lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.
- 4. Slice bell pepper and cucumber into thin strips. Chop the green chili finely and sauté the bell pepper with a pinch of salt for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
- 5. Warm the whole wheat rotis on a tawa. Spread a layer of dal mixture on each roti, top with sautéed bell peppers, cucumber slices, and green chili.
- 6. Roll the rotis tightly into wraps, ensuring the filling is evenly distributed. Serve fresh with a side of lemon wedges or mint chutney.
