Ingredients
- 500 g Rava
- 500 g Onion
- 250 g Carrot
- 250 g French Beans
- - Grated Coconut
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- - Green Peas
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. In a dry pan, roast the semolina over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until aromatic and lightly golden. Set aside.
- 2. Heat ghee or vegetable oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, and let them splutter. Add curry leaves, green chili, and asafoetida, stirring for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Then, add carrots, green beans, and green peas, cooking for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- 4. Stir in the turmeric powder and salt, mixing well with the vegetables.
- 5. Gradually add the roasted semolina to the pan, stirring continuously to combine with the vegetables.
- 6. Slowly pour in the hot water, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook for 4-5 minutes on low heat until the mixture thickens and the semolina absorbs the water.
- 7. Add the grated coconut and mix well. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- 8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve warm.
