Ingredients

  • 500 g Rava
  • 500 g Onion
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 250 g French Beans
  • - Grated Coconut
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • - Green Peas
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. In a dry pan, roast the semolina over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until aromatic and lightly golden. Set aside.
  2. 2. Heat ghee or vegetable oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, and let them splutter. Add curry leaves, green chili, and asafoetida, stirring for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Then, add carrots, green beans, and green peas, cooking for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. 4. Stir in the turmeric powder and salt, mixing well with the vegetables.
  5. 5. Gradually add the roasted semolina to the pan, stirring continuously to combine with the vegetables.
  6. 6. Slowly pour in the hot water, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook for 4-5 minutes on low heat until the mixture thickens and the semolina absorbs the water.
  7. 7. Add the grated coconut and mix well. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  8. 8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve warm.
