Ingredients

  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • - Low Fat Dahi (Pouch)
  • 250 ml Olive Oil
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 100 g Ajwain
  • - Besan
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 250 g Carrot
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds, and salt. Gradually add water and whisk to form a smooth, lump-free batter with a pancake-like consistency.
  2. 2. Stir in the chopped tomato, capsicum, green chili, and coriander leaves into the batter. Mix well.
  3. 3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and drizzle a few drops of olive oil. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly into a thin circle. Cook for 2 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining batter to make 4 cheelas.
  4. 4. In a small bowl, mix the plain yogurt with lemon juice and a pinch of salt to make a tangy yogurt dressing.
  5. 5. Prepare the filling by combining shredded cabbage and grated carrot in a bowl. Toss with a spoonful of the yogurt dressing.
  6. 6. To assemble, place a cheela on a plate, spread a thin layer of yogurt dressing over it, and add a portion of the cabbage-carrot filling in the center. Fold the cheela into a wrap.
  7. 7. Serve the wraps warm, optionally with a side of mint chutney for added flavor.
