Ingredients
- 100 g Oats Jumbo
- 500 g Suji
- 200 g Dahi
- 500 g Onion
- 250 g Carrot
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Grind the rolled oats into a fine powder using a blender or food processor, and transfer to a mixing bowl.
- 2. Add semolina and yogurt to the oats, along with 100ml of water, and mix into a smooth batter. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
- 3. Stir in the chopped tomato, onion, bell pepper, carrot, green chilies, and coriander leaves. Season the batter with cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and drizzle with a little cooking oil. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread gently into a thick pancake shape.
- 5. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes on the other side.
- 6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding oil as needed, to make multiple uttapams.
- 7. Serve hot with coconut chutney or plain yogurt for a balanced and delicious breakfast.
