Ingredients

  • 250g Swad White Aval 250g
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 1 liter Sunflower Oil
  • 250 g Carrot
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the flattened rice (poha) in a colander under running water for 1-2 minutes until soft, then drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a kadhai or deep pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add cumin seeds and curry leaves.
  3. 3. Sauté the chopped onion and green chili until the onion turns translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the chopped tomato, grated carrot, and green peas. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. 5. Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the vegetables evenly with the spices.
  6. 6. Gently fold in the softened poha and roasted peanuts. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally to combine all ingredients.
  7. 7. Turn off the heat, add lemon juice, and mix well. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
