Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 1 kg Potato
- 500 g Sabudana / Sago
- 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
- 100 Ml Govind Ghee
- Pcs Catch Sendha Namak
- Pcs Farmhand Curd
- 500 Gms Buckwheat Flour
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
Instructions
- 1. For the Kuttu Poori, in a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of kuttu (buckwheat) flour, 1/4 tsp rock salt, and 1 boiled and mashed potato. Gradually add water and knead into a firm dough. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them into small discs. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the pooris until puffed and golden brown. Set aside.
- 2. For the Aloo Sabzi, heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan. Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds and let them crackle. Add 1 chopped green chili and 2 boiled and cubed potatoes. Stir in 1/2 tsp rock salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric, and 1/2 tsp red chili powder. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
- 3. For the Sabudana Khichdi, rinse 1 cup of sabudana (sago pearls) under running water and soak for 4-5 hours. Drain completely. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan, add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds and 1 chopped green chili. Stir in 1/4 cup roasted and crushed peanuts. Add the soaked sabudana, 1/2 tsp rock salt, and mix well. Cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes until the sabudana turns translucent.
- 4. Serve the vrat thali by plating the Kuttu Pooris, Aloo Sabzi, Sabudana Khichdi, and a bowl of fresh curd (yogurt). Optionally, garnish the curd with a pinch of roasted cumin powder.
