Ingredients
- 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 500 ml Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 25 g Parsley
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 2.5 Kg Austin Whole Peeled Tomato
- 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
- 1 kg Twf Bread Flour T55 - Specialised Maida
- 1 pc (1 kg) Tata Salt 2 In 1 Shakti Jar
- 80 g Urban Platter Cayenne Pepper Powder
Instructions
- 1. Dice the green pepper and onion; set aside.
- 2. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add diced green pepper and onion, cooking until the onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
- 3. Sprinkle the cooked vegetables with 1 tablespoon of flour and stir well to coat.
- 4. Add salt, cayenne pepper, parsley, and minced garlic to the pot, stirring to combine.
- 5. Break up the tomatoes with a fork and add them to the pot along with 1 1/2 cups of water. Heat the mixture to a boil.
- 6. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 7. Stir in the rice, ensuring it is evenly distributed. Cover the pot and remove it from heat. Let stand for 5 to 7 minutes until the rice is tender and absorbs the flavors.
- 8. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve warm.
