Ingredients
- 100 g Oats Jumbo
- 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- - Green Peas
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Dry roast the rolled oats in a pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until they become slightly aromatic. Remove and set aside.
- 2. Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and asafoetida, and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add curry leaves and green chili to the pan. Sauté for 1 minute for enhanced aroma.
- 4. Add the chopped tomato, green bell pepper, and green peas. Sprinkle turmeric powder and salt. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- 5. Mix the roasted oats into the pan with the vegetables. Stir well to combine. Add a small amount of water, cover with a lid, and let it cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes until the oats are soft and fluffy.
- 6. Stir in roasted peanuts for crunch and squeeze lime juice over the upma for a fresh tangy flavor.
- 7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
