Ingredients
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Jeera
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250 G Beans (250Gm)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 900G Chtoura Garden Coarse Brown Bulgur
- 250 g Carrot
- 50G Green Chilies
- 500 G Peas/Matar (500Gm)
- 200 ml Ghee
- - Frozen Sweet Corn
Instructions
- Step 1: Wash and prepare the vegetables. Finely chop the beans, carrot, tomato, and green chilies. Keep the frozen sweet corn and peas ready. Wash the coriander leaves and roughly chop them.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pressure cooker over medium heat.
- Step 3: Add 1 teaspoon of jeera to the hot ghee and allow it to splutter for 30 seconds.
- Step 4: Add a pinch of asafoetida powder and the chopped green chilies, sauté for 1 minute.
- Step 5: Add the chopped beans, carrot, sweet corn, and peas to the cooker. Stir well and sauté for 3–4 minutes.
- Step 6: Add the chopped tomato and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Step 7: Add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly.
- Step 8: Rinse 1 cup of Chtoura Garden Coarse Brown Bulgur (broken wheat) under cold water and add it to the cooker.
- Step 9: Add 4 cups of water to the cooker, ensuring the ingredients are submerged. Stir well.
- Step 10: Close the pressure cooker lid and cook on medium heat for 2 whistles (approximately 8–10 minutes).
- Step 11: Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally before opening the lid.
- Step 12: Stir the cooked daliya gently to combine all the ingredients evenly.
- Step 13: Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
