Ingredients

  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 250 G Beans (250Gm)
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 900G Chtoura Garden Coarse Brown Bulgur
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 500 G Peas/Matar (500Gm)
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • - Frozen Sweet Corn

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Wash and prepare the vegetables. Finely chop the beans, carrot, tomato, and green chilies. Keep the frozen sweet corn and peas ready. Wash the coriander leaves and roughly chop them.
  2. Step 2: Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pressure cooker over medium heat.
  3. Step 3: Add 1 teaspoon of jeera to the hot ghee and allow it to splutter for 30 seconds.
  4. Step 4: Add a pinch of asafoetida powder and the chopped green chilies, sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Step 5: Add the chopped beans, carrot, sweet corn, and peas to the cooker. Stir well and sauté for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Add the chopped tomato and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Step 7: Add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly.
  8. Step 8: Rinse 1 cup of Chtoura Garden Coarse Brown Bulgur (broken wheat) under cold water and add it to the cooker.
  9. Step 9: Add 4 cups of water to the cooker, ensuring the ingredients are submerged. Stir well.
  10. Step 10: Close the pressure cooker lid and cook on medium heat for 2 whistles (approximately 8–10 minutes).
  11. Step 11: Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally before opening the lid.
  12. Step 12: Stir the cooked daliya gently to combine all the ingredients evenly.
  13. Step 13: Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
