- 500 g Poha
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
- - Green Peas
- 100 g Jeera
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the poha gently under running water for 10-15 seconds, then drain thoroughly and set aside for 10 minutes to soften.
- 2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, allowing them to splutter, then add curry leaves and sauté for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add the chopped onion and green chili to the pan, cooking until the onion turns translucent, approximately 2-3 minutes.
- 4. Stir in the turmeric powder and green peas, cooking for another 2 minutes until the peas are tender.
- 5. Add the chopped tomato and salt, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften and release their juices.
- 6. Gently fold in the softened poha and roasted peanuts, ensuring the mixture is well-coated with the spices. Cook for 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- 7. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and fresh coriander for a burst of flavor.
- 8. Serve the turmeric spiced poha medley warm, garnished with extra coriander if desired.
