Ingredients
- - Malai Paneer
- 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 200 ml Ghee
- 200 g Dahi
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, a pinch of salt, and yogurt (if using). Gradually add water and knead into a soft, pliable dough. Cover and set aside for 15 minutes.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- 3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and green chili. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil begins to separate.
- 4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well, then add the crumbled paneer and salt to taste. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and mix in chopped coriander leaves. Let the filling cool slightly.
- 5. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a small ball. Flatten a ball and roll it out into a small circle. Place a portion of the paneer filling in the center and bring the edges together to seal.
- 6. Gently roll out the stuffed dough ball into a paratha, being careful not to tear it.
- 7. Heat a tawa or flat pan over medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on the tawa and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, brushing with ghee, until golden brown and cooked through.
- 8. Repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling. Serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
