Ingredients

  • - Malai Paneer
  • 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • 200 g Dahi
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, a pinch of salt, and yogurt (if using). Gradually add water and knead into a soft, pliable dough. Cover and set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and green chili. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil begins to separate.
  4. 4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well, then add the crumbled paneer and salt to taste. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and mix in chopped coriander leaves. Let the filling cool slightly.
  5. 5. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a small ball. Flatten a ball and roll it out into a small circle. Place a portion of the paneer filling in the center and bring the edges together to seal.
  6. 6. Gently roll out the stuffed dough ball into a paratha, being careful not to tear it.
  7. 7. Heat a tawa or flat pan over medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on the tawa and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, brushing with ghee, until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. 8. Repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling. Serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
