Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 100 g Quinoa
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a tawa or flat pan over medium heat and lightly sear the paneer cubes until golden on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pan, add the remaining oil and heat it. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds, then add the chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the tomatoes and cook until they soften and the oil starts to separate.
  4. 4. Add the diced capsicum, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the capsicum is tender yet slightly crisp.
  5. 5. Add the seared paneer cubes back into the pan along with garam masala. Toss gently to coat the paneer in the masala and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. 6. To serve, place a generous portion of cooked quinoa in a bowl. Top with the tawa masala paneer, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and a squeeze of lime.
