Ingredients

  • 250g Swad White Aval 250g
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 250 g Carrot
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the flattened rice (poha) gently under cold water and let it sit in a sieve for 5-10 minutes to soften.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, letting them splutter, then toss in curry leaves and chopped green chilies.
  3. 3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, followed by the grated carrot and green peas. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften.
  4. 4. Stir in the turmeric powder and salt, ensuring the spices coat the vegetables evenly.
  5. 5. Add the softened poha to the pan and mix gently. Reduce heat to low and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Turn off the heat and mix in the lemon juice and roasted peanuts for tanginess and crunch.
  7. 7. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve warm.
