- 250g Swad White Aval 250g
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Lemon
- 100G Oleo
- 500 g Sugar
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the flattened rice (poha) in a colander under running water until it softens. Let it drain and set aside.
- 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add curry leaves and green chilies. Sauté for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns translucent. Stir in the turmeric powder and red chili powder.
- 4. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften, about 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and sugar, and mix well.
- 5. Gently fold in the softened poha and roasted peanuts. Stir everything together to ensure the spices and flavors coat the poha evenly.
- 6. Squeeze the lemon juice over the mixture and give it a final stir. Cook for another 1-2 minutes on low heat.
- 7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve warm.
