Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 500 g Onion
  • 300 g Ginger Paste
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 200 g Dahi
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a tawa or skillet over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Add the ginger paste and green chili, and cook for another minute.
  3. 3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften and release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the crumbled paneer to the skillet and mix well with the tomato-onion mixture. Cook for 3-4 minutes, ensuring the paneer absorbs the flavors.
  5. 5. Sprinkle garam masala and chopped fresh coriander over the mixture. Stir well and cook for another minute before removing from heat.
  6. 6. Warm the whole wheat rotis on the tawa and spread an even portion of the paneer bhurji filling across the center of each roti.
  7. 7. Roll the rotis tightly around the filling to form rolls. If desired, serve with a side of yogurt for dipping.
