Ingredients
- 500 g Onion
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 50 Grms Garam Masala Handmade Spices 50 Grms
- 100 g Amchur Powder
- - Besan
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine besan, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, amchur powder, garam masala, and cumin seeds. Gradually add water to make a lump-free, medium-thick batter.
- 2. Stir in the chopped vegetables, onion, green chili, ginger paste, and coriander leaves into the batter. Mix well to evenly distribute the ingredients.
- 3. Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) on medium heat and lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it into a thin, round pancake.
- 4. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to lift and the bottom turns golden brown. Drizzle oil around the edges and flip the cheela.
- 5. Cook the other side for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove from the tawa and repeat with the remaining batter.
- 6. Serve the cheelas hot with mint chutney or yogurt for a flavorful breakfast.
