Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Idly/Dosa Batter
  • 1Kg Potato
  • 500 g Onion
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100G Oleo
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 G Lasun Khobra Chutney
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil the potatoes until tender, peel, and mash them. Set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onion and green chili, and sauté until translucent.
  3. 3. Add chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the spices are well blended.
  4. 4. Add mashed potatoes and green peas to the pan, mix well, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add garam masala, lemon juice, and coriander leaves. Stir and remove from heat.
  5. 5. Heat a tawa or flat pan and pour a ladleful of dosa batter, spreading it thinly in a circular motion. Drizzle a few drops of oil around the edges and cook on medium heat until golden and crispy.
  6. 6. Place a portion of the potato filling in the center of the dosa, fold it into a wrap, and remove from the tawa.
  7. 7. Repeat with the remaining batter and filling. Serve hot with coconut chutney on the side, if desired.
