Ingredients
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 100 g Ajwain
- - Chaat Masala
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- - Besan
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds, and salt. Gradually add water while whisking to create a smooth, lump-free batter with a flowing consistency.
- 2. Add the chopped onions, tomatoes, green chili, coriander leaves, and lemon juice to the batter. Mix well to evenly distribute the ingredients.
- 3. Heat a tawa (flat griddle) over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the tawa and spread it gently into a thin circle.
- 4. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the edges start lifting and the bottom turns golden brown. Drizzle a few drops of oil around the edges, then flip the puda and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- 5. Remove the cooked puda from the tawa and repeat the process with the remaining batter to make additional pudas.
- 6. Serve the Tangy Tawa Masala Besan Puda hot with mint chutney or plain yogurt for an enjoyable breakfast.
