Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken Whole
- 500 g Onion
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- 200 g Dahi
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat oil in a tawa or flat pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for 10-15 seconds.
- 2. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- 3. Stir in the turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder, then add the pureed tomatoes. Cook the mixture until the oil separates, about 10 minutes.
- 4. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and mix well to coat them in the masala. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Lower the heat, add the yogurt, and mix thoroughly to create a creamy texture. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- 6. Sprinkle garam masala and salt, adjust seasoning to taste, and add lemon juice for tanginess. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- 7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan, parathas, or steamed rice.
