Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken Whole
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat oil in a tawa or flat pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for 10-15 seconds.
  2. 2. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. 3. Stir in the turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder, then add the pureed tomatoes. Cook the mixture until the oil separates, about 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and mix well to coat them in the masala. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Lower the heat, add the yogurt, and mix thoroughly to create a creamy texture. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  6. 6. Sprinkle garam masala and salt, adjust seasoning to taste, and add lemon juice for tanginess. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
