- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- - Coconut Oil
- 100 g Tamarind Paste
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tbsp coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves, and let them splutter.
- 2. Add finely sliced onions to the pan and sauté until golden brown. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for another 2 minutes.
- 3. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Cook until the tomatoes soften and the oil begins to separate.
- 4. Mix in the tamarind paste and prawns. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, ensuring the prawns are evenly coated with the spices.
- 5. Sprinkle garam masala and adjust salt as needed. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the prawns are fully cooked and tender.
- 6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot alongside steamed rice, dosa, or enjoy as-is.
