  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Dry roast the rolled oats in a pan for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, then grind them into a fine powder using a blender.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, besan, turmeric powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, and salt.
  3. 3. Add the chopped tomato, onion, capsicum, grated carrot, green chili, and coriander leaves to the dry mixture, stirring well to distribute the vegetables evenly.
  4. 4. Gradually add yogurt and lemon juice to the mixture, stirring to create a thick, lump-free batter. Adjust consistency with a little more yogurt if needed.
  5. 5. Heat a non-stick pan or tawa over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking oil.
  6. 6. Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it in a circular motion to form a medium-sized chilla.

  8. 8. Remove the chilla from the pan and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
  9. 9. Serve the chillas hot with mint chutney or low-fat yogurt for a tangy accompaniment.
