Ingredients
- - Malai Paneer
- 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
- 200 g Dahi
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- - Chaat Masala
- medium Chilli Green Long
- - Coriander Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, a pinch of salt, and enough water to knead into a soft, pliable dough. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- 2. In another bowl, mix crumbled paneer, yogurt, finely chopped onion, green chili, coriander leaves, ginger paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, and a pinch of salt. Ensure the mixture is well-combined.
- 3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a 4-inch circle. Place a spoonful of the paneer filling in the center, then fold the edges to seal and form a stuffed ball.
- 4. Gently roll out the stuffed ball into a 6-inch paratha, being careful not to tear the dough and expose the filling.
- 5. Heat a skillet or tawa over medium heat. Place a rolled paratha on the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until bubbles appear. Flip and drizzle a few drops of oil around the edges.
- 6. Cook the other side for 1-2 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula to ensure even cooking. Flip again and cook until both sides are golden and slightly crisp.
- 7. Repeat the process for the remaining dough and filling. Serve the parathas hot with yogurt, pickle, or mint chutney.
