  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 250 G Masur Dal
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • - Coconut Oil
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 52 g Paprika Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 200 g Black Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the masoor dal thoroughly until the water runs clear, then set aside.
  2. 2. Heat coconut oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds to release their aroma.
  3. 3. Add the chopped tomatoes and diced bell pepper to the pan. Stir well and cook for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  4. 4. Mix in turmeric powder, paprika, garam masala, red chili powder, and black salt. Stir the spices evenly into the vegetables.
  5. 5. Add the rinsed masoor dal to the pan and stir to coat the lentils with the spice mixture. Pour in enough water to fully cover the lentils and bring to a boil.
