Ingredients

  • 1 pc Cabbage Red
  • 125 g Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 pack (100 g) Catch Red Kuti Mirch
  • 800 g Sunny Sun Lite Refined Sunflower Oil
  • 200 g Tata Sampann Cumin Seeds / Jeera Seeds (Whole Spices) (Jeera)
  • 100 g X 3 Mtr Turmeric Powder | Arisina Pudi Combo
  • 70 g Namakwali Authentic Mix Seasoning Flavoured Salt
  • 100 g Tata Sampann Whole Spices Cumin Seed

Instructions

  1. 1. Finely chop 1 head of cabbage and thinly slice 1 red bell pepper.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. 3. Add 1 teaspoon of cumin to the hot oil. Stir for 30 seconds until aromatic.
  4. 4. Add the chopped cabbage and sliced bell pepper to the pan. Stir well to coat the vegetables in the spices.
  5. 5. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder, and salt to taste over the vegetables. Mix thoroughly.
  6. 6. Cover the pan and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender but not mushy.
  7. 7. Remove the lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes to let any excess moisture evaporate.
  8. 8. Serve hot as a main dish or alongside roti or rice for a complete meal.
