Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 500 g Organically Grown Tomato (Hybrid) (Tamatar)
- 500 g Organically Grown Sweet Potato
- 400 g Zehrat Safa Tomato Paste, 4
- 250 g Spinach - Chopped
- 1 pack (100 g) On1Y Whole Cumin Seeds, Sabut Jeera Spices
- 100 g Jk Jeera Powder / Cumin Powder
- 500 g Dhani Pure Coriander Powder
- 1 pack (500 g) Daily Good Turmeric - Haldi Powder
- 750 ml Catch Clear Lemon N Lime Flavoured Water
- 70 g Namakwali Authentic Mix Seasoning Flavoured Salt
- 1 pc (50 g) Everest Tasteeto Black Pepper | Grinder Cap Bottle
- 1 ltr Black & Green Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Avocado Oil
- 100 g X 3 Mtr Coriander Powder Combo
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pot over medium-high heat.
- 2. Add 1 chopped onion and fry until it releases its water and begins to shrivel, about 5 minutes.
- 3. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, and 1 teaspoon chili powder. Cook for 2-3 minutes, adding 1/4 cup water to prevent sticking.
- 4. Add 1 chopped tomato and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- 5. Add 1 diced sweet potato, along with another 1/4 cup water. Stir well, cover, and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Add 2 tablespoons tomato paste, 200 g fresh spinach, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the spinach is evenly coated.
- 7. Add the remaining 1/2 cup water, cover, and cook for another 5 minutes until the spinach wilts and releases its water.
- 8. Turn up the heat to high and cook until the liquid reduces to your desired consistency, stirring frequently.
- 9. Serve hot as a main dish.
