Ingredients

  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 500 g Onion
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Unsalted Butter
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat a tawa or skillet over medium heat and add oil. Once hot, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and green chili to the pan, sautéing until the onions turn golden brown, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften and blend into a thick mixture, about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the crumbled paneer to the pan and mix well with the tomato-onion base. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Sprinkle garam masala and fresh coriander leaves over the paneer mixture. Stir well and cook for another minute before turning off the heat.
  6. 6. Butter the slices of bread and toast them on the same tawa until golden and crisp, approximately 2 minutes per side.
  7. 7. Assemble by evenly spreading the paneer bhurji over the toast slices and serve immediately.
