Ingredients

  • 1Bunch Pudina
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 10 pcs Prawns
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Jeera Powder
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • - Chaat Masala
  • - Baby Tomatoes
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 250 g Cucumber
  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • medium Chilli Green Long

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, prepare the marinade by combining hung curd, mustard oil, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ground cumin, ground coriander, lemon juice, and chaat masala. Mix thoroughly to make a smooth paste.
  2. 2. Add the cleaned and deveined prawns to the marinade. Ensure each prawn is well-coated, then cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  3. 3. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn golden and are fully cooked. Remove from heat and let them cool slightly.
  4. 4. In a large salad bowl, combine sliced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, fresh mint leaves, fresh coriander leaves, and finely chopped green chili.
  5. 5. Toss the grilled prawns with the prepared salad and adjust seasoning if needed. Optionally, drizzle with extra lemon juice for added tanginess.
  6. 6. Serve the Spicy Tandoori Prawn Salad immediately, garnished with a few extra mint and coriander leaves for freshness.
