Ingredients
- 250 g Mutton
- 1 Kg Idly/Dosa Batter
- 500 g Onion
- 200 g Dahi
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tbsp of cooking oil in a deep pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- 2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, then stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute.
- 3. Add the tomato puree, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Cook until the oil separates.
- 4. Add the mutton pieces to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are lightly browned.
- 5. Stir in the yogurt, mix well, and cook for another 10 minutes, allowing the mutton to absorb the flavors.
- 6. Add enough water to cover the mutton, season with salt, and simmer on low heat for 30-35 minutes until the mutton is tender.
- 7. Meanwhile, steam the idlis using the idli batter in an idli steamer for 10-12 minutes until fluffy.
- 8. Once the mutton is cooked, stir in the garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- 9. Serve the hot and spicy mutton masala alongside the soft idlis for a delicious and hearty breakfast.
