- 500 g Chicken Whole
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- 400 g Atta Bread
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Jeera
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter for 30 seconds.
- 2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, then add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute.
- 3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften into a thick masala.
- 4. Add the minced chicken to the pan, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and the mixture is dry.
- 5. Sprinkle garam masala and lemon juice, mix well, and finish with chopped cilantro.
- 6. Lightly toast the slices of whole-grain bread in a toaster or on a pan until golden brown.
- 7. Spread the prepared chicken kheema generously on each slice of toasted bread and serve warm.
