  • 500 g Onion
  • 100 g Ajwain
  • 250 g Spinach
  • 250 g Carrot
  • - Low Fat Dahi (Pouch)
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • - Besan
  • - Tortilla Wraps
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds, and salt. Gradually add water to create a smooth, lump-free batter of pourable consistency.
  2. 2. Stir in the chopped spinach, grated carrot, coriander leaves, and green chili into the batter, ensuring the vegetables are evenly distributed.
  3. 3. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and lightly grease it with a few drops of oil. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it thinly in a circular motion to form a pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  4. 4. In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté the onion and tomato until soft and fragrant. Season with a pinch of salt and red chili powder. Set aside.
  5. 5. To assemble the wrap, place a besan cheela on a whole wheat tortilla or roti. Spread a spoonful of the sautéed vegetable mix and a dollop of low-fat yogurt on top.
  6. 6. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling to form a wrap. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  7. 7. Serve warm with mint chutney or a side of fresh salad for a complete meal.
