- 250 g Spinach
- 250 g Carrot
- - Low Fat Dahi (Pouch)
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- - Besan
- - Tortilla Wraps
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds, and salt. Gradually add water to create a smooth, lump-free batter of pourable consistency.
- 2. Stir in the chopped spinach, grated carrot, coriander leaves, and green chili into the batter, ensuring the vegetables are evenly distributed.
- 3. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and lightly grease it with a few drops of oil. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it thinly in a circular motion to form a pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining batter.
- 4. In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté the onion and tomato until soft and fragrant. Season with a pinch of salt and red chili powder. Set aside.
- 5. To assemble the wrap, place a besan cheela on a whole wheat tortilla or roti. Spread a spoonful of the sautéed vegetable mix and a dollop of low-fat yogurt on top.
- 6. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling to form a wrap. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
- 7. Serve warm with mint chutney or a side of fresh salad for a complete meal.
