A hearty and flavorful chili made with lean turkey, beans, and a blend of spices, perfect for a satisfying kosher dinner.
Ingredients
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
- 525 g Veeba Herby Tomato Pizza & Pasta Sauce
- 500 ml Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 500 g Truefarm Organic Red Kidney Beans Pack (Capparadavare)
- 100 g Tata Sampann Whole Spices Cumin Seed
Instructions
- 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add 1 minced garlic clove and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- 2. Remove the garlic from the pot and set aside if desired.
- 3. In the same pot, add another tablespoon of olive oil and sauté 1 diced green capsicum over medium heat until softened, about 5 minutes.
- 4. Add the sautéed garlic back to the pot along with 2 cans of red kidney beans (rinsed and drained), 12 oz tomato sauce, and 1 tablespoon of cumin. Stir well to combine.
- 5. Reduce the heat to low and let the chili simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot with your favorite toppings such as chopped cilantro or a dollop of sour cream.
