Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • - Besan
  • 1 liter Sunflower Oil
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Methi

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil on a tawa or flat pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and green chilies, sauté until the onion turns golden brown.
  3. 3. Stir in the tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil starts separating from the mixture.
  4. 4. Add the chopped methi leaves and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the leaves wilt and combine with the spice mixture.
  5. 5. Sprinkle the gram flour over the mixture and stir well to coat evenly. Cook for 2 minutes to eliminate the raw taste of the flour.
  6. 6. Add the paneer cubes and gently mix to coat them with the spice and methi mixture. Cook for 5-6 minutes, turning the paneer occasionally to avoid breaking.
  7. 7. Sprinkle garam masala and lemon juice over the dish, mix gently, and cook for another minute.
  8. 8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, paratha, or as is for a wholesome breakfast.
