Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- - Besan
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Jeera
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Methi
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil on a tawa or flat pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
- 2. Add the chopped onion and green chilies, sauté until the onion turns golden brown.
- 3. Stir in the tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil starts separating from the mixture.
- 4. Add the chopped methi leaves and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the leaves wilt and combine with the spice mixture.
- 5. Sprinkle the gram flour over the mixture and stir well to coat evenly. Cook for 2 minutes to eliminate the raw taste of the flour.
- 6. Add the paneer cubes and gently mix to coat them with the spice and methi mixture. Cook for 5-6 minutes, turning the paneer occasionally to avoid breaking.
- 7. Sprinkle garam masala and lemon juice over the dish, mix gently, and cook for another minute.
- 8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, paratha, or as is for a wholesome breakfast.
