  • 200 g Paneer
  • 250 G Masur Dal
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • 100 g Lemon
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee or oil on a tawa or a flat griddle over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chili, cooking for another minute.
  3. 3. Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the masala is well-cooked, about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Drain the soaked masoor dal and add it to the tawa along with 1/2 cup of water. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the dal is soft and cooked through.
  5. 5. Add the cubed paneer and gently mix, ensuring the paneer is coated evenly with the spices. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  6. 6. Sprinkle garam masala, stir, and cook for 1 more minute. Adjust salt as needed.
  7. 7. Turn off the heat, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and drizzle with lemon juice for a tangy finish.
  8. 8. Serve hot with whole wheat parathas, naan, or as is for a fulfilling breakfast.
