Ingredients

  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the idlis into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a non-stick tawa or skillet over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  3. 3. Add curry leaves and chopped green chili, sauté for 30 seconds until aromatic.
  4. 4. Stir in the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5. Add the chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt. Cook until the tomato softens and the spices are well combined, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. 6. Add the idli pieces to the masala mixture and toss gently to coat evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the idlis to absorb the flavors.
