Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 250 ml Olive Oil
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 25 g Kasuri Methi
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly, soak for 20 minutes, and cook in a pot with cumin seeds and a pinch of salt until fluffy. Set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. 3. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and slit green chilies, cooking for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
  4. 4. Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the oil begins to separate.
  5. 5. Reduce heat to low, whisk yogurt until smooth, then slowly add it to the pan while stirring continuously to prevent curdling.
  6. 6. Gently fold in the paneer cubes, ensuring they are well coated in the masala. Cover and let simmer for 5-8 minutes.
  7. 7. Sprinkle garam masala powder and kasuri methi over the dish, mixing gently. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. 8. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve the paneer masala alongside the jeera rice in a bowl.
