Ingredients

  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
  • 500 G Preserved Dried Salted Black Beans
  • 200 g Fortune Soya Chunks
  • 250 g Mirchi Powder (Bedagi)
  • 100 g Zoff Garlic Powder
  • 100 g Catch Sprinklers - Iodized Table Salt
  • 250 g Vistevia Sugar Free Tomato Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown 1 lb of soya chunks until fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat.
  3. 3. Add 1 diced onion and 1 cup of uncooked rice to the skillet with the soya chunks. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the onion softens slightly and the rice is lightly toasted.
  4. 4. Stir in 1 can of drained and rinsed beans, 1 can of tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon of chili seasoning, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix well to combine.
  5. 5. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and spread it out evenly. Cover the dish tightly with a lid or aluminum foil.
  6. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the rice is tender and most of the moisture is absorbed.
  7. 7. Remove from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, then fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
