- 50 g The Select Aisle Bread Crumbs
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 30 Pieces Dr.Hen Table White Egg 30 Pcs
- 2 x 140 g D'Lecta Shredded Mozzarella Shredded Cheese - Pack Of 2
- 720 Ml Freshows Jalapeno Sliced
- 50 g On1Y Black Peppercorns With Grinder
- 80 g Urban Platter Cayenne Pepper Powder
- 525 g Veeba Herby Tomato Pizza & Pasta Sauce
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1 finely chopped onion, 1 egg, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- 3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes.
- 4. Prepare the corn muffin mix according to the package instructions. Stir in 1 can of chopped jalapeno to the batter.
- 5. Spread the remaining tomato sauce (approximately 1/2 cup) evenly over the baked layer. Sprinkle with shredded cheese if desired.
- 6. Pour and spread the prepared corn muffin batter over the top of the dish, ensuring it covers the sauce layer completely.
- 7. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cornbread topping is golden brown and cooked through.
- 8. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve warm.
