Ingredients

  • 50 g The Select Aisle Bread Crumbs
  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 30 Pieces Dr.Hen Table White Egg 30 Pcs
  • 2 x 140 g D'Lecta Shredded Mozzarella Shredded Cheese - Pack Of 2
  • 720 Ml Freshows Jalapeno Sliced
  • 50 g On1Y Black Peppercorns With Grinder
  • 80 g Urban Platter Cayenne Pepper Powder
  • 525 g Veeba Herby Tomato Pizza & Pasta Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1 finely chopped onion, 1 egg, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  3. 3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Prepare the corn muffin mix according to the package instructions. Stir in 1 can of chopped jalapeno to the batter.
  5. 5. Spread the remaining tomato sauce (approximately 1/2 cup) evenly over the baked layer. Sprinkle with shredded cheese if desired.
  6. 6. Pour and spread the prepared corn muffin batter over the top of the dish, ensuring it covers the sauce layer completely.
  7. 7. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cornbread topping is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. 8. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve warm.
