- 250 g Mutton
- - Coconut Oil
- 500 g Onion
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a deep pan or wok over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
- 2. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown. Stir in green chilies, curry leaves, and ginger-garlic paste, cooking for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
- 3. Add the mutton pieces and sauté on high heat for 5-7 minutes, ensuring the meat is well-seared and coated in the spices.
- 4. Stir in chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften and the mixture forms a thick masala base.
- 5. Add 1/2 cup of water to the pan, cover, and simmer on low heat for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mutton is tender.
- 6. Once the mutton is cooked and the gravy thickens, add freshly ground black pepper and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
- 7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice, dosa, or parathas.
