  • 100 g Jeera
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under running water to remove its natural bitterness and drain well.
  2. 2. Cook the quinoa in a pot with double the amount of water over medium heat until soft and fluffy, about 15 minutes. Set aside.

  4. 4. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Stir in the turmeric powder and sambar powder, cooking for another minute.
  5. 5. Add the chopped tomato, grated carrot, and green peas. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften.
  6. 6. Mix in the cooked quinoa and salt, stirring well to combine the flavors and ensure even seasoning. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. 7. Turn off the heat and stir in the lemon juice. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  8. 8. Serve the South Indian Masala Quinoa Bowl warm, either on its own or with a side of coconut chutney for added flavor.
