- 200 g Paneer
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 200 g Dahi
- - Tandoori Seasoning 50g
- 30 g Smoked Paprika Powder
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and cook it according to package instructions. Once done, fluff with a fork and set aside.
- 2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, smoked paprika, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt to create a marinade. Add the paneer cubes and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee or oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the marinated paneer cubes and cook until they are golden and slightly charred on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- 4. In the same pan, add the remaining ghee or oil. Sauté the chopped onions until translucent, then add the diced bell pepper and chopped tomato. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- 5. Add the cooked rice to the pan with the vegetables. Gently mix everything together, ensuring the rice is evenly coated with the flavors.
- 6. Add the cooked paneer back to the pan and toss gently to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
