Ingredients
- 6 pcs White Eggs
- 220 g Soya Sauce
- 500g Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
- - Frozen Peas
- 1 kg Bell Peppers
- 2 pcs Zucchini
- 1 kg Rice
- 190 ml White Cooking Vinegar
- 500 g Sugar
- 100G Oleo
- 1 bunch Spring Onion
- 50 g White Sesame Seeds
- 100 g Til
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add the chopped spring onions (reserve some for garnish) and diced red bell pepper, sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- 2. Add the zucchini and green peas to the pan, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still have a slight crunch.
- 3. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan. If using eggs, crack them into the empty side of the pan, scramble until cooked, and mix with the vegetables.
- 4. Add the kimchi to the pan and cook for 2 minutes, allowing its flavors to infuse into the vegetables.
- 5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, sugar, and vinegar to create the sauce. Pour the sauce into the pan and stir well to coat all the ingredients evenly.
- 6. Add the cooked rice to the pan and gently mix everything together, ensuring the rice absorbs the sauce and is heated through. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- 7. Sprinkle white and black sesame seeds over the fried rice and give it a final stir. Remove from heat.
- 8. Serve the sesame kimchi fried rice hot, garnished with the reserved spring onions for a fresh, vibrant finish.
