Ingredients

  • 6 pcs White Eggs
  • 220 g Soya Sauce
  • 500g Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
  • - Frozen Peas
  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • 2 pcs Zucchini
  • 1 kg Rice
  • 190 ml White Cooking Vinegar
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 100G Oleo
  • 1 bunch Spring Onion
  • 50 g White Sesame Seeds
  • 100 g Til
  • 200 ml Sesame Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add the chopped spring onions (reserve some for garnish) and diced red bell pepper, sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  2. 2. Add the zucchini and green peas to the pan, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still have a slight crunch.
  3. 3. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan. If using eggs, crack them into the empty side of the pan, scramble until cooked, and mix with the vegetables.
  4. 4. Add the kimchi to the pan and cook for 2 minutes, allowing its flavors to infuse into the vegetables.
  5. 5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, sugar, and vinegar to create the sauce. Pour the sauce into the pan and stir well to coat all the ingredients evenly.
  6. 6. Add the cooked rice to the pan and gently mix everything together, ensuring the rice absorbs the sauce and is heated through. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  7. 7. Sprinkle white and black sesame seeds over the fried rice and give it a final stir. Remove from heat.
  8. 8. Serve the sesame kimchi fried rice hot, garnished with the reserved spring onions for a fresh, vibrant finish.
