- 50 g Parsley Leaves
- 300 g Brown Bread Ladi Pav
- 6 pcs White Eggs
- 50 g Nutmeg Powder
- - Toned Milk
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Pasteurised Butter
- 200 g Table Salt
Instructions
- 1. Cut 3 stale bread rolls into small cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 2. Heat 200ml of milk in a saucepan until warm (do not boil), then pour it over the bread cubes.
- 3. Let the bread soak in the milk for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even absorption.
- 4. Finely chop 1 small onion and sauté it in a pan with 1 tablespoon of butter until translucent.
- 5. Add the sautéed onion to the soaked bread mixture.
- 6. Crack 2 eggs into the mixture and add 2 tablespoons of finely chopped parsley.
- 7. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and a pinch of nutmeg, then mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
- 8. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 9. With wet hands, shape the mixture into 6-8 evenly sized dumplings.
- 10. Bring a large pot of salted water to a gentle simmer (not boiling).
- 11. Carefully place the dumplings into the simmering water and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning them occasionally.
- 12. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and let them drain briefly before serving.
