  • 100 g Quinoa
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 250 g Carrot
  • - Green Peas
  • 100G Oleo
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under running water to remove any bitterness and let it drain.
  2. 2. Heat a pan over medium heat and dry roast the quinoa for 2-3 minutes until slightly aromatic, then set aside.
  3. 3. In the same pan, heat the vegetable oil and add the cumin seeds, letting them crackle for about 30 seconds.
  4. 4. Add the chopped onion and green chili to the pan, sauté until the onion turns translucent.
  5. 5. Add the chopped tomato and cook for 3-4 minutes until soft and mushy, then stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.
  6. 6. Mix in the diced bell pepper, carrot, and green peas, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  7. 7. Add the roasted quinoa to the pan and stir well to combine with the spices and vegetables.
  8. 8. Pour in 300ml of hot water, add salt, and cover the pan with a lid. Let it simmer on low heat for about 12-15 minutes or until the quinoa is cooked and the water is absorbed.
