A hearty and flavorful dinner featuring tender seared steaks smothered in a rich mushroom gravy. Perfect for a satisfying evening meal.
Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 1 Pack Nectr Cremini Mushroom (Chemical Free)
- 1 Unit Cj Korean Pancake Flour Mix
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
- 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 870G & Mustard Oil 1L Pouch
Instructions
- 1. Pound the steaks with a tenderizer or fork to soften them.
- 2. In a shallow pan, combine 1 cup of flour with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.
- 3. Press each steak into the flour mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
- 4. Heat 1/2 cup of oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat.
- 5. Sear the steaks in the hot oil until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 6. Add 1 chopped onion to the Dutch oven and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- 7. In a bowl, mix 1 can of mushroom soup with an equal amount of water until smooth, then pour the mixture over the steaks.
- 8. Reduce the heat to low, cover the Dutch oven, and let the steaks simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- 9. Check the liquid level during cooking and add more water if necessary to maintain a gravy consistency.
- 10. Once the steaks are tender and the gravy has thickened, remove from heat.
- 11. Serve the steaks hot, topped with the mushroom gravy. Enjoy!
