Savory Mushroom Gravy Seared Steaks recipe

Ingredients

  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 1 Pack Nectr Cremini Mushroom (Chemical Free)
  • 1 Unit Cj Korean Pancake Flour Mix
  • 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
  • 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 870G & Mustard Oil 1L Pouch

Instructions

  1. 1. Pound the steaks with a tenderizer or fork to soften them.
  2. 2. In a shallow pan, combine 1 cup of flour with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.
  3. 3. Press each steak into the flour mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
  4. 4. Heat 1/2 cup of oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat.
  5. 5. Sear the steaks in the hot oil until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. 6. Add 1 chopped onion to the Dutch oven and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  7. 7. In a bowl, mix 1 can of mushroom soup with an equal amount of water until smooth, then pour the mixture over the steaks.
  8. 8. Reduce the heat to low, cover the Dutch oven, and let the steaks simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  9. 9. Check the liquid level during cooking and add more water if necessary to maintain a gravy consistency.
  10. 10. Once the steaks are tender and the gravy has thickened, remove from heat.
  11. 11. Serve the steaks hot, topped with the mushroom gravy. Enjoy!
