  • 200 ml Ghee
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 500 g Onion
  • 250 g French Beans
  • 250 g Carrot
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Salt
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan and dry roast the rava (semolina) on medium heat until light golden and aromatic. Remove it from the pan and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pan, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of ghee. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter, then add the slit green chili and sliced onion. Sauté until the onion is soft and translucent.
  3. 3. Add the chopped tomato and cook until it softens. Mix in the turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt.
  4. 4. Add the chopped green beans, carrots, and green peas. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  5. 5. Pour in the coconut milk and an equal amount of water. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low.
  6. 6. Gradually add the roasted rava while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the rava absorbs the liquid and the mixture thickens.
  7. 7. Once the rava is cooked and the pulao has a soft, fluffy texture, turn off the heat. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.
  8. 8. Serve the Savory Coconut Milk Rava Pulao warm, garnished with additional coriander leaves, if desired.
