Ingredients

  • 500 g X 2 Organically Grown Potato Combo
  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 1 ltr Amul Calci+ Calcium Rich High Protein Milk
  • 100 g Mother Dairy Salted Butter
  • 200 g Cremeitalia Sour Cream
  • 290ml Lea And Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
  • 5 ltr Fortune Xpert Pro Immunity Oil Blend Of Rice Bran & Sunflower Oil
  • 70 g Namakwali Authentic Mix Seasoning Flavoured Salt
  • 1 pack (100 g) Popular Essentials Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Brown sliced potatoes on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. 3. Butter a large baking dish with a well-fitting cover. Arrange 3 sliced potatoes and 2 sliced onions in alternating layers in the dish. Season each layer with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. 4. In a bowl, mix 1 cup of sour cream, 1 cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the layered potatoes and onions.
  5. 5. Cover the dish tightly with its lid or aluminum foil.
  6. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, or until the potatoes are cooked through.
  7. 7. Remove the lid or foil for the last 5-10 minutes of baking to allow the top to brown slightly.
  8. 8. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your savory baked potatoes!
